At Nature’s Serenity, LLC, we carefully handcraft and inspect our products before they leave us. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and will work to resolve eligible return, damage, and order issues as described below.
Returns
We accept returns requested within 30 calendar days after delivery.
To qualify for a return, the product must be:
- Unused, unburned, and unmelted;
- In its original condition and packaging; and
- Accompanied by the order number or other proof of purchase.
Candles may be opened and inspected, but they cannot have been lit or burned. Wax melts may be opened for inspection but cannot have been melted or used.
To begin a return, email support@natures-serenity.com with your name, order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Please do not mail a product back before receiving return authorization and instructions from us.
Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Fragrance Preferences
Fragrance preferences are personal and may vary from person to person. An unused and unburned product may be returned under our standard return policy, but we cannot accept a candle or wax melt that has been burned, melted, or otherwise used to test the fragrance.
Damaged, Defective, Missing, or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.
Contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery if:
- An item arrived broken, melted, leaking, or otherwise unusable;
- You received the wrong product;
- An item is missing from your package; or
- Your package appears to have been damaged during shipping.
Include your order number and clear photographs of the product, shipping box, packaging materials, and shipping label when applicable.
When an order is damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect because of shipping or an error by Nature’s Serenity, we may provide a replacement, refund, or other appropriate resolution at no additional cost to you.
Please retain the item and all packaging until the claim has been resolved, as the shipping carrier may require photographs or inspection.
Natural Product Variations
Our candles are made with soy and coconut wax and may develop natural cosmetic variations, including frosting, slight discoloration, wet spots, surface texture changes, or minor wax separation or sweating.
These variations are common in products made with natural wax and generally do not affect the candle’s performance. Cosmetic variations alone are not considered defects. However, a product that arrives melted, significantly damaged, or unusable should be reported under the damaged-order section above.
Return Shipping
For ordinary returns, including returns based on fragrance preference or a change of mind, the customer is responsible for return-shipping costs.
Nature’s Serenity will cover reasonable return or replacement shipping when the return results from:
- A damaged or defective product;
- An incorrect item;
- A missing item; or
- Another verified error by Nature’s Serenity.
Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return resulted from our error or the product arrived damaged or defective.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Nature’s Serenity is not responsible for return packages lost or damaged before reaching us.
Refunds
Once an authorized return is received, we will inspect it and notify you whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will include the eligible product price and corresponding sales tax. Unless the return resulted from our error or a damaged or defective product, original shipping charges will not be refunded.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after approval. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit to your account.
We reserve the right to reduce or deny a refund when a returned product:
- Has been burned, melted, used, altered, or damaged after delivery;
- Is not in its original condition;
- Is missing parts or packaging;
- Was returned without authorization; or
- Does not otherwise meet this policy’s requirements.
Nonreturnable Items
The following items are not eligible for ordinary returns:
- Burned candles or used wax melts;
- Gift cards;
- Custom, personalized, private-label, or made-to-order products;
- Items clearly marked “Final Sale”; and
- Products damaged through misuse, improper candle care, or failure to follow the product’s safety instructions.
These exclusions do not prevent customers from contacting us about an item that arrived damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect.
Exchanges
For ordinary fragrance or product exchanges, please request a return and place a new order for the preferred item.
When a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we may ship a replacement directly without requiring a separate new order.
Order Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible to request a cancellation. We will make reasonable efforts to cancel an order that has not entered fulfillment or shipped.
Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled and will be subject to the standard return policy.
Custom or made-to-order products may not be canceled after production has begun.
Packages Marked Delivered
When tracking shows that a package was delivered but it cannot be located, please:
- Confirm that the shipping address provided with the order was correct;
- Check around the delivery area and with other household members or neighbors;
- Contact the shipping carrier; and
- Notify Nature’s Serenity promptly so we can review the shipment information and assist with the carrier’s claim process when appropriate.
Nature’s Serenity cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for an order delivered to an address incorrectly entered by the customer.
